Adding elearning to Arlo

If you’re using the Arlo training management system to handle all the administration for your face-to-face or classroom-based training courses, then you’re in a fantastic position to expand your product offering with online or blended courses too.

To deliver your elearning, you’ll need a learning management system. A learning management system, or LMS for short, is a system often used for the delivery of online learning materials – often in the form of online courses. It can often handle the administration, tracking, reporting and automation of your elearning courses.

Popular learning management systems include Moodle, Docebo, Talent LMS, Cornerstone, Teachable, Thinkific and Coassemble. Here at Training Spark our favourite is LearnDash. LearnDash is a plugin for the popular content management system WordPress and enhances this popular platform with learning management functions and features.

Once you’ve chosen your LMS, ideally you’ll want to integrate your Arlo site with LMS. Luckily for those who have opted for LearnDash, we have created a dedicated Arlo-LearnDash plugin that allows learners to buy your elearning courses in Arlo then access them in your LearnDash site. This way you can continue to track the progress of your online learning customers in Arlo as you do for your face-to-face clients.

In Arlo, you’ll need to set up elearning events so that these appear on your website and Arlo store. Using the Arlo-LearnDash integration plugin you’ll then link these products in Arlo with the course(s) you wish to grant access to in LearnDash. Our handy video walks you through the setup process in full:

So if you are an Arlo customer, set up your LearnDash site and offer your customers elearning too!
